Note: Effective 12th October 2018 Upgrade Vouchers will cease to exist as physical documents and will be replaced with eVouchers. On 12th October 2018, all unutilized Upgrade Vouchers of eligible Members will be credited with eVouchers in ‘My JP Wallet’ section of Member’s Jet Privilege Account with the expiry date of the original physical Upgrade Vouchers. Upon tier review for upgrade/retention/downgrade, eligible Members will be issued a new set of eVouchers depending upon their tier attainment criteria.

Here’s the process for JP members and Non-members to use their Upgrade Vouchers

Process for Utilisation of Upgrade Voucher/s:

1. Use of Upgrade Vouchers Online (www.jetprivilege.com, www.jetairways.com, Jet Airways mobile app)

a. Utilise for self (Members) where Member is part of the travel:

1. Click on ‘Login’ button

2. After successful login proceed to My Account and click on ‘My JP wallet’

3. Select ‘Claim Vouchers’ which will display all vouchers including Upgrade Vouchers. ‘Jet Airways Upgrade Vouchers’ section will have list of available Upgrade Vouchers available for use

4. If a Member has no vouchers, then the dashboard will display the message ‘You have No Upgrade Vouchers’

5. ‘Redeem Upgrade Voucher’ will allow Members to utilize Upgrade Vouchers; upgrade vouchers will be automatically selected by the system basis the expiry date

6. Upon Clicking on ‘Redeem Upgrade Voucher’ tab Member will be redirected to the Jet Airways website, ‘Manage My Booking’ screen on www.jetairways.com where Members will need to enter the PNR, Last Name and First Name

7. Member will be navigated to the Booking Details page where Member will have to select ‘Upgrade Booking’ tab under ‘Extras’ section alongside

8. Member will have an option to select upgrade with Cash, Jet Airways Upgrade Voucher or JPMiles

9. Upon selecting Upgrade Vouchers as the option, the screen will display the names of the Guests and segments if seat is available for an upgrade, else 'No Upgradable Flights Available' message will be displayed

10. If more than one Guest is booked on the same PNR, Member will have to select his/her name and segment for upgrade

11. After clicking ‘Continue’, a One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to Member’s registered mobile number for verification

12. Member will have to enter the OTP; upon the booking fulfilling the upgrade eligibility criteria viz. Eligible RBD, eligible Tier, availability of valid vouchers basis the distance and cabin requirement, and subject to availability of a seat, the upgrade will be confirmed, and a confirmation of the transaction will be sent to Member’s registered email id and mobile number. Additionally, Member will also receive a new ticket & PNR for the upgraded segment from info@jetairways.com

13. Member can then proceed to do a seat select/web-check-in as per the available utilization time window for these services. For departure ex-London and ex-Paris, Members will have to pay an airport departure tax of GBP 78 & EUR 40.56 at the Jet Airways ticketing counter at the airport before proceeding for the flight. Failure to pay would result in cancellation of your travel. Airport departure tax and rules governing the same are subject to change and Members need to contact Jet Airways ticketing desk at London or Paris for more details.

b. Utilise by Member for another Guest where Member is not part of the travel or when Member is travelling with a companion:

1. Click on ‘Login’ button

2. After successful login proceed to My Account and click on ‘My JP wallet’

11. After clicking ‘Continue’, a One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to Member’s registered mobile number for verification

12. Member will have to enter the OTP; upon the booking fulfilling the upgrade eligibility criteria viz. Eligible RBD, eligible Tier, availability of valid vouchers basis the distance and cabin requirement, and subject to availability of a seat, the upgrade will be confirmed, and a confirmation of the transaction will be sent to Member’s registered email id and mobile number. Additionally, the email id updated in the PNR (belonging either to the Member or the Guest) will also receive a new ticket & PNR for the upgraded segment from info@jetairways.com

13. Member & selected companion/s or Guest can then proceed to do a seat select/web-check-in as per the available utilization time window for these services. For departure ex-London and ex-Paris, Members will have to pay an airport departure tax of GBP 78 & EUR 40.56 for each Guest at the Jet Airways ticketing counter at the airport before proceeding for the flight. Failure to pay would result in cancellation of your travel. Airport departure tax and rules governing the same are subject to change and Members need to contact Jet Airways ticketing desk at London or Paris for more details.

c. Utilise by a Non-Member for self (Guest to whom Member has transferred the Upgrade Voucher):

1. Visit www.jetairways.com

2. Navigate to the ‘Manage My Booking’ section under the ‘My Trip’ tab

3. Guest will need to enter the PNR, Last Name and First Name

4. Guest will be navigated to the Booking Details page where Guest will have to select ‘Upgrade Booking’ tab under ‘Extras’ section alongside

5. Guest will have an option to select upgrade with Cash, Jet Airways Upgrade Voucher or JPMiles

6. Upon selecting Upgrade Vouchers as the option, in the pop-up screen the Guest will have to enter the mobile number and email id provided by the Member at the time of transfer of the voucher/s

7. On clicking the ‘Continue’ tab, if seat is available for an upgrade, the screen will display the names of Guests and segments, else ‘No Upgradable Flights Available’ message will be displayed

8. If more than one Guest is booked on the same PNR, Guest will have to select his/her name and segment for upgrade

9. After clicking ‘Continue’, a One Time Password (OTP) will be sent for verification to Guest’s mobile number and email address provided by the Member at the time of transfer of the voucher/s

a. Utilise for self (Members) where Member is part of the travel:

1. Member will need to call on 39893333 through his/her registered mobile number

2. Member will need to complete the verification process upon which the Member will need to provide the PNR, his/her name and segment/s to be upgraded to the call centre agent

3. If seats are available, agent will generate a One Time Password (OTP) which will be sent for verification to Member’s registered mobile number and email address

4. Member will have to share the One Time Password (OTP) with the call centre agent

5. Upon the booking fulfilling the upgrade eligibility criteria viz. Eligible RBD, eligible Tier, availability of valid vouchers basis the distance and cabin requirement, the upgrade will be confirmed, and a transaction confirmation message will be sent to Member’s registered email id and mobile number

6. Member can then proceed to do a seat select/web-check-in as per the available utilization time window for these services. For departure ex-London and ex-Paris, Members will have to pay an airport departure tax of GBP 78 & EUR 40.56 at the Jet Airways ticketing counter at the airport before proceeding for the flight. 1. Guest will need to call on 39893333 and select JetPrivilege option in the IVR call flow

2. Guest will need to provide to the call centre agent the mobile number and email address provided by the Member at the time of transfer of the voucher/s

3. Once verification process is complete, Guest needs to provide to the call centre agent the PNR, his/her name and segment/s to be upgraded; the name on the PNR should match the Guest name used by the Member at the time of transfer of the voucher/s. If the name does not match, the transaction will not proceed

4. If seats are available, a One Time Password (OTP) will be sent for verification to mobile number and email address provided by the Member at the time of transfer of the voucher/s

5. Guest will have to share the One Time Password (OTP) with the call centre agent

6. Upon fulfilling the upgrade eligibility criteria viz. Eligible RBD, eligible Tier, availability of valid vouchers basis the distance and cabin requirement, the upgrade will be confirmed, and a confirmation of the transaction will be sent to mobile number and email address provided by the Member at the time of transfer of the voucher/s

7. Guest can then proceed to do a seat select/web-check-in as per the available utilization time window for these services. For departure ex-London and ex-Paris, Members will have to pay an airport departure tax of GBP 78 & EUR 40.56 at the Jet Airways ticketing counter at the airport before proceeding for the flight. Failure to pay would result in cancellation of your travel. Airport departure tax and rules governing the same are subject to change and Members need to contact Jet Airways ticketing desk at London or Paris for more details

3. Use of Upgrade Vouchers at Airport

a. Utilise for self (Members) where Member is part of the travel:

1. Member will need to be checked in against his/her economy booking (on the website or at the kiosk) if choosing to upgrade to Premiere or checked in against his/her Premiere booking (on the website or at the kiosk) if choosing to upgrade to First before exercising the option to upgrade at the airport

2. After check-in, Member will have to proceed to the Baggage Drop Counter and ask for a Cabin Upgrade. Baggage Drop Counter agent will assist the Member with Cabin Upgrade

3. In case of seat availability, Member will need to provide the PNR/Boarding pass, & JetPrivilege Membership number to the Baggage Drop Counter agent, upon which a One Time Password (OTP) will be sent for verification to Member’s registered mobile number and email address

4. Member will need to enter the One Time Password (OTP) in the application provided by the Baggage Drop Counter agent

5. Upon fulfilling the upgrade eligibility criteria viz. Eligible RBD, eligible Tier, availability of valid vouchers basis the distance and cabin requirement, the voucher(s) will be utilised for the upgrade and a confirmation of the payment will be sent to Member’s registered email id and mobile number

6. Member will be issued a new boarding pass with upgraded cabin/class by the Baggage Drop Counter agent as a confirmation of the payment towards the upgrade request. Member need to check for the confirmation of the cabin upgrade at the boarding gate, prior to flight closure. In case, the cabin upgrade is not confirmed, all the utilised Upgrade voucher(s) will be reversed to the member’s account

For departure ex-London and ex-Paris, members will have to pay an airport departure tax of GBP 78 & EUR 40.56 at the Jet Airways ticketing counter at the airport before proceeding for the flight. Failure to pay would result in cancellation of your travel. Airport departure tax and rules governing the same are subject to change and Members need to contact Jet Airways ticketing desk at London or Paris for more details

b. Utilise by Member for another Guest where Member is not part of the travel or when Member is travelling with a companion:

A Member cannot utilize his/her vouchers for a companion if Member is not part of the travel.

When a Member is travelling with a companion:

1. Member & selected companion will need to be checked in against their economy booking (on the website or at the kiosk) if choosing to upgrade to Premiere or checked in against their Premiere booking (on the website or at the kiosk) if choosing to upgrade to First before exercising the option to upgrade at the airport

2. After check-in, Member will have to go to Baggage Drop Counter and ask for a Cabin Upgrade. Baggage Drop Counter agent will the Member with the Cabin Upgrade

3. In case of seat availability, Member will need to provide the PNR/Boarding pass, & JetPrivilege Membership number to the Baggage Drop Counter agent, upon which a One Time Password (OTP) will be sent for verification to Member’s registered mobile number and email address

4. Member will need to enter the One Time Password (OTP) for each Guest in the booking in the application provided by the Baggage Drop Counter

5. Upon fulfilling the upgrade eligibility criteria viz. Eligible RBD, eligible Tier, availability of valid vouchers basis the distance and cabin requirement, the voucher(s) will be utilised for the upgrade and a confirmation of the payment will be sent to Member’s registered email id and mobile number.

6. Member & selected companion/s will be issued a new boarding pass with upgraded cabin/class by the Baggage Drop Counter agent as a confirmation of the payment towards the upgrade request. Member need to check for the confirmation of the cabin upgrade at the boarding gate, prior to flight closure. In case, the cabin upgrade is not confirmed, all the utilised Upgrade voucher(s) will be reversed to the member’s account

5. Upon fulfilling the upgrade eligibility criteria viz. Eligible RBD, eligible Tier, availability of valid vouchers basis the distance and cabin requirement, the voucher(s) will be utilised for the upgrade and a confirmation of the payment will be sent to Guest’s registered email id and mobile number

6. Guest will be issued a new boarding pass with upgraded cabin/class by the Baggage Drop Counter agent as a confirmation of the payment towards the upgrade request. Guest need to check for the confirmation of the cabin upgrade at the boarding gate, prior to flight closure. Process for transfer of Upgrade Vouchers:

1. Transfer by a Member of Upgrade Vouchers Online (www.jetprivilege.com, www.jetairways.com, Jet Airways mobile app)

a. Transfer to another Member:

1. Click on ‘Login’ tab

2. Upon successful login proceed to ‘My JP Wallet’ under My Account section

3. Select ‘Transfer Vouchers’ which will display list of available Upgrade Vouchers for use under Jet Airways Upgrade Vouchers

4. If a Member has no vouchers, then dashboard will display the message ‘You have No Upgrade Vouchers’

5. Member will have to select ‘Transfer to JP Member’ and mention the JetPrivilege number of the Member to whom the Upgrade Voucher/s is to be transferred and the number of Upgrade Voucher/s the Member wants to transfer

6. Upgrade vouchers will be automatically selected by the system basis the expiry date and number of Upgrade Voucher/s mentioned for transfer. Alternatively, Member can select the Upgrade Voucher/s that he/she wants to transfer to the Member

7. On clicking the ‘Send Verification Code’ tab, a One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to Member’s registered mobile number for verification

8. Member will have to enter the OTP and click on ‘Confirm’ tab to complete the process

9. On successful transaction, both the transferor Member & the transferee Member will receive a confirmation on their respective registered mobile numbers and email addresses. Also, JetPrivilege Members receiving vouchers will be able to see them in 'My JP Wallet' section with a 'Received' tag at www.jetprivilege.com or www.jetairways.com

b. Transfer to a Non-Member:

1. Click on 'Login' tab

2. Upon successful login proceed to 'My JP Wallet' under My Account section

3. Select ‘Transfer Vouchers’ which will display list of available Upgrade Vouchers available for use under Jet Airways Upgrade Vouchers

4. If a Member has no vouchers, then the dashboard will display the message ‘You have No Upgrade Vouchers’

5. Member will have to select ‘Transfer to Non-JP Member’ and mention the name, email address and mobile number of the Guest to whom the Upgrade Vouchers will be transferred and the number of Upgrade Voucher/s the Member wants to transfer. The name, email address and mobile number being used to transfer the vouchers and these details in the PNR should match to enable the Guest to successfully use the transferred vouchers. Also, the email address and the mobile number should not be registered to a Jet Privilege account

6. Upgrade vouchers will be automatically selected by the system basis the expiry date and number of Upgrade Voucher/s mentioned for transfer. Alternatively, Member can select the Upgrade Voucher/s that he/she wants to transfer to the Guest

7. On clicking the ‘Send Verification Code’ tab, a One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to Member’s registered mobile number and email address for verification

8. Member will have to enter the OTP and click on ‘Confirm’ tab to complete the process

9. On successful transaction, the Member will receive a confirmation on their registered mobile number and email address. The Guest to whom the voucher/s was transferred, will also receive the details of the transferred Upgrade Voucher/s on the email address and the mobile number mentioned during transfer

Process for Reversal of Upgrade Vouchers:

1. Upgrade Voucher Reversal – Online (www.jetprivilege.com, www.jetairways.com, Jet Airways mobile app)

a. Upgrade Voucher reversal by a Member:

Voucher reversal can be requested by the Member for his/her own travel or for a Guest where the upgrade has been carried out by the Member directly without a transfer of vouchers and where it involves a cancellation of his/her travel or Guest’s travel or because of change in flight number or date of travel and an upgrade is not available in these scenarios for either the Member or the Guest/s

1. Prior to initiating the request for reversal of Upgrade Voucher, Member will need to contact the Jet Airways reservation desk on 39893333 or contact his/her travel agent to cancel or change the flight number or date of travel within the permissible cancellation/modification time limits beyond which the booking would be treated as a ‘No-show’ by Jet Airways

2. Only after the cancellation of the booking or modification to the travel and after paying the necessary charges/penalties will a Member be able to initiate the request for reversal of Upgrade Voucher

  • Click on 'Login' tab

     

    3. Upon successful login proceed to 'My JP Wallet' under My Account section

    4. Select ‘Upgrade Reversal’ tab and choose mode for upgrade reversal as ‘Jet Airways Upgrade Vouchers’

    5. Mention the updated PNR received at the time of upgrade and click ‘Submit’, the screen will display the names of the Guests and segments with ‘Reversal Status’. Booking details with ‘Reversal Status’ as ‘Open’ can only be selected for Upgrade Voucher Reversal

    6. If there is more than one Guest in the PNR who had been upgraded using vouchers and their voucher reversal status is” Open” for reversal, Member will have to select name/s and segment/s for whom the reversal has to be initiated

    7. After clicking ‘Reverse Upgrade’, a One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to Member’s registered mobile number and email address for verification

    8. Member will have to enter the OTP and click on the ‘Confirm’ tab to initiate the reversal process. A confirmation for the initiation of the transaction will be sent to Member’s registered email id and mobile number

    9. Post validation, the reversal request will be submitted for review and a response (accept/reject) will be communicated to the Member within 72 hours. If the Member does not first cancel/modify the booking within the permissible time limits and pay the necessary charges/penalties as mentioned in point 1 & 2 above and sends a voucher reversal request which gets processed after the departure date of the travel, then JetPrivilege will not be responsible for any charges to the Member/Guest arising out of such a situation

    10. On successful reversal of Upgrade Voucher, it will be added to last owner's account

b. Upgrade Voucher reversal by a Non-Member (Guest to whom Member has transferred the Upgrade Voucher):

2. Upgrade Voucher Reversal – JetPrivilege Service Centre:

a. Upgrade Voucher reversal by a Member:

Voucher reversal can be requested by the Member for his/her own travel or for a Guest where the upgrade has been carried out by the Member directly without a transfer of vouchers and where it involves a cancellation of his/her travel or Guest’s travel or because of change in flight number or date of travel and an upgrade is not available in these scenarios for either the Member or the Guest/s

1. Prior to initiating the request for reversal of Upgrade Voucher, Member will need to contact the Jet Airways reservation desk on 39893333 or contact his/her travel agent to cancel or change the flight number or date of travel within the permissible cancellation/modification time limits beyond which the booking would be treated as a ‘No-show’ by Jet Airways

2. Only after the cancellation of the booking or modification to the travel and after paying the necessary charges/penalties will a Member be able to initiate the request for reversal of Upgrade Voucher

3. Member will need to call the JetPrivilege Service Centre on 39893333 through his/her registered mobile number and complete the verification process

4. Once the verification process is complete, Member will need to provide the PNR, his/her name or Guest’s name and segment/s to be reversed to the call centre agent

5. Upon validation, a One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to the Member’s registered mobile number and email address

6. Member will have to share the OTP with the call centre agent. A confirmation for the initiation of the transaction will be sent to the Member’s registered email id and mobile number

7. Post validation, the reversal request will be submitted for review and a response (accept/reject) will be communicated to the Member within 72 hours. If the Member does not first cancel/modify the booking within the permissible time limits and pay the necessary charges/penalties as mentioned in point 1 & 2 above and sends a voucher reversal request which gets processed after the departure date of the travel, then JetPrivilege will not be responsible for any charges to the Member/Guest arising out of such a situation

8. On successful reversal of Upgrade Voucher, it will be added to last owner's account

b. Upgrade Voucher reversal by a Non-Member (Guest to whom Member has transferred the Upgrade Voucher):

Voucher reversal can be requested by the Guest for his/her own travel because of change in flight number or date of travel and an upgrade is not available in these scenarios

1.
